This scan enables us to establish whether your baby is growing correctly for the amount of weeks pregnant you are.
This is achieved by taking 4 measurements throughout the babys' body:
BPD: Biparital Diameter
HC: Head Circumferance
AC: Abdominal Circumferance
FL: Femur Length
This will also give us an idea of baby's weight.
If measurements are found to be below the expected line for the number of weeks then Doppler flow measurements through the umbilical cord will be performed
